I took the weekend and drove out to McCook, Nebraska to photograph Kayla and Brett’s wedding, and it was worth it. The church was amazing and it did justice to the couple and their bridal party. A fun group, all of whom were game when we saw an old garage with a classic car. That spur of the moment decision helped to create some wonderful and unique images. I love to get some detail shots of items that can be forgotten. The shoes looked great but can be lost under a wedding dress. The slide show presentation was a blast and held that perfect balance of being very funny and touching at the same time. Being present and capturing the moments of a couple that was meant to be together is a highlight of this job. The second best part is that fun couples have fun friends, a good time was had by all.
